Corey is currently accepting students for private voice lessons. He teaches a straight-forward, healthy vocal technique in the pedagogical lineage of Berton Coffin, Barbara Doscher, and Lynn Wickham. This flexible technique is adaptable to many vocal styles—including classical music, musical theatre, and current popular styles such as Jazz, Electronica, Blues, and Rock.
Lessons include time to work on technique and musical ideas. Additional topics covered can include sight-singing, music theory, music history and foreign language diction (including Italian, German, French, Spanish, and Latin).
Students of all levels are welcome, ages 14 and up. Younger students are accepted, depending on stage of voice change.
